In early of 2010, a truck shows up for evaluation that defies convention and makes little-to-no sense on a rational level. The truck is Chromed Ram 2500 Crew Cab. The Chromed Ram 2500 Crew is so huge even on truck garage.

It features a Mopar two-inch lift kit and 35-inch Toyo Open Country tires, what was once a garden-variety heavy-duty Ram stops fitting neatly into more than just garages. In additional, Chromed Ram 2500 Crew is equipped with $1180 worth of chrome trim, and a $1290 hard tonneau cover.

2009 Subaru Forester

subaru foresterMy 2009 Subaru Forester trudged through rather inclement weather last weekend without issue. I felt composed and confident through the rain, regardless of speed when I drove the Subaru. I hit a major downpour on Marina along the coast, but the water and wind didn’t affect my Subaru Forester. I love it. :)

Along the coast, I maintained my speed. Everyone around me saw me. :) There was no shake, not even a hint at trouble. Again, I love my Subaru Forester. It didn’t matter how high the water appeared, or how far the splashes shot above as I drove through pool after pool.

Suzuki Equator RMZ – Sport 2009

2009-suzuki-equator-RMZ-4-sport-side-viewSuzuki Equator RMZ truck is just the right size for freeway or around town driving. Suzuki’s quick-rig Garmin navigation setup is simple, cheap, works well, and allows you to enter an address while driving, you just have to undock the unit first. I subjected the Equator to some light off-roading on a dirt road, which it handled without a problem.

A Credible Alternative to a Wrangler. This truck was easy to maneuver, drive, and park, though the V-6’s fuel economy isn’t much better than that of our long-term V-8 F-150. The Equator RMZ truck feels every bit as good as the Toyota Tacoma benchmark.

Truck Driving on Mountain Roads and the maintenance

Driving a big rig on a mountain road is very different from traveling on a flat highway. If we could get trucks off of the highways some believe it would make highways safer.  The manufacturers of pick up trucks make use of all possible measures to make their vehicle full of added features with maximum usability. With the immense amount of weight being hauled in your trailer, you’ll want to be sure you get down the mountain safely. But before you go down the mountain, you have to climb up.

Fot the maintenance, When winter hits, there is less and less quality time to wash your vehicle and do general maintenance. This is particularly true of those of us who live in northern climates, as the cold and the lack of sunlight can really affect how we go about doing work on our trucks.
