Truck Driving on Mountain Roads and the maintenance
Driving a big rig on a mountain road is very different from traveling on a flat highway. If we could get trucks off of the highways some believe it would make highways safer. The manufacturers of pick up trucks make use of all possible measures to make their vehicle full of added features with maximum usability. With the immense amount of weight being hauled in your trailer, you’ll want to be sure you get down the mountain safely. But before you go down the mountain, you have to climb up.
Fot the maintenance, When winter hits, there is less and less quality time to wash your vehicle and do general maintenance. This is particularly true of those of us who live in northern climates, as the cold and the lack of sunlight can really affect how we go about doing work on our trucks.
2009 Kia Borrego
2009 Kia Borrego has a very nice powerband engine. Too many automakers are forgetting about the existence of the front passenger, but not with the Kia Borrego. At 7500 miles, the Borrego went in for its first service visit, a $168.22 oil change, full inspection, and tire rotation.
In other side, The drone Art and Brian speak of seems to appear only at a precise rpm level. It is very annoying and seems as if it’s intake noise. It was around 2500 rpm.
I look forward to putting some serious miles on our Borrego and seeing how Kia’s first serious sport/ute effort stacks up both on congested, crossover-packed freeways and the trails of which soft-roaders can only dream.
